our semester in China has come to an end. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here for almost 4 months. This week is all about grades and make-up exams for some of our lazy students (god knows there are a few of them). I had my first round of oral exams this afternoon and only 2 kids out 13 managed to pass. What did they expect? Some of thoe guys just never showed up in class and they expected me to give them an easy test and/or let them retake it if they could not cut it… yeah right! Dream on!!!
So far, there are maybe 5 or 6 of my students that should not have passed but there is nothing I can do about it. This semester was a bit of a clusterfuck because we never really knew what to do or even when to test the kids. I had been bitching about my business majors for months and now. some of them have failed…
