The last few weeks have been weird, strange, amazing and a combination of the above or none of the above! I’m actually not really sure…..
I’ve spent months -if not years- trying to track down my old classmates from high school. PArt of it was curiosity, part of it a desire to see some of them again because we had shared so much over the years. anyways, to make a long story short, I never tracked any of them other than 2 ladies I had stayed in touch with on and off since I left Morocco.
So, what happens last week? I get a friend request from a name I had not seen nor heard in almost 10 years… 10 bloody years! I approved it and started the onslaught: Soon enough, Facebook’s viral effect was full fledged and the names started trickling down memory lane and my approval list… one after the other for days and days. One thing led to another and soon enough, I was seeking those folks. within the space of a week, my “friends” list had doubled.
Now, I’m still unsure as to how I feel about that… very unsure… but nevertheless good
