good day today! pretty eventful considering nothing happens on my days off usually.
Marina and I went for sushi close to the office then proceeded to spend the afternoon visiting all the most of the stores downtown. I have to say that the selection was pretty decent as far as apparel and toys but goddam it.. where are the vodka and the scotch? Only one stand had ABSOLUT for 160 RMB… noway in hell. I have to do more digging.
The telecom just got around to installing my ADSL at home tonight so I was able to write this entry and read all the mail. Quite a few surprises: Tina, Gitta and Annette wrote while none other than Antonio Tavares himself visited my humble blog…. how’s that? I also got an e-mail from an old high school buddy and my aunt in egypt. Geez… it’s almost too much for one day.
